The six-semester, full-time program “Bachelor of Arts in German as a Second/Foreign Language” provided at PH Freiburg University of Education is practice-oriented and is aimed to provide knowledge of the basics of German language, and to prepare the students for professional career in the field of teaching. They will improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in German. The study content includes theoretical lectures such as Fundamentals of Linguistics, Fundamentals of Education and Social Sciences, and Fundamentals of Transcultural Competence, as well as seminars and practical tasks, where they will develop and manage different projects. Participants also have the possibility to take part in an internship program, for improving their professional skills.
