The study program “Master of Arts in German as a Second/Foreign Language” is offered at PH Freiburg University of Education. The students have the opportunity to choose between four-semesters, full-time, or six-semesters, part-time study. They will gain in-depth knowledge of the German language as a foreign language by attending subjects like Second Language Acquisition, German in Contrast, Subject Didactics, and Transcultural Communication. In addition, those who want to improve their teaching skills and knowledge, can take part in an internship program, as well as to participate in different projects. Graduates of this course will be qualified for teaching positions at schools, in integration courses, in qualification measures for young people and adults, and many more.
