The four-semester double degree program “German-French Master Course of Studies in Teaching at Secondary Level 1” is provided at PH Freiburg University of Education. The course is in cooperation with Institut National Supérieur du Professorat et de l'Education (INSPÉ) de l'Académie de Nice, and provides the opportunity for students to study in both countries Germany and France. It is aimed to teach participants the basics of education science, its history and development, as well as how to effectively work with children, and how to design different lessons. The content of study includes the subjects Didactics, Sciences, Biology, Sociology, and Educational Sciences, as well as German and French language. This program qualifies the graduates for teaching positions, for example as a bilingual teacher, with focus on German and French language.
