The “Bachelor of Science in Health Education” provided at PH Freiburg University of Education offers the possibility for six semesters of full-time or part-time studies. It is practice-oriented, and is aimed to teach students the basic scientific theories and methods of the health science. The study plan includes subjects like Fundamentals of Health Education, Methods in Science, Research, Evaluation and Quality Management of Health Pedagogy. Students can also take part in an internship program, and will be able to solve and develop solutions to different problems, or design strategies for promoting healthy lifestyles. After successfully completing the program, participants will be qualified for a career in the field of health, for example pedagogical work with healthy and ill people.
