PHTW offers the seven-semester study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering”. The curriculum is split into two sections: mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences, and economics, law, and social sciences. The core and specialty areas go over previously learned material in greater depth, whilst the three elective modules focus on developing an individual direction and broadening desires. This expertise is supported by project work, which combines personal understanding with practical use. From the beginning, a strong focus is put on interdisciplinary information implementation, as well as networked, solution-oriented, and socially competent thought and acting. Sales and marketing, logistics and materials handling, production and manufacturing, quality management, and finance and accounting are some of the typical areas of application for an industrial engineer.
