PHWT offers the seven-semester dual study program “Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering”. There are two fields of the industrial engineering program: math, natural and technological sciences and economics, law and social sciences. In order to build and broaden preferences in a single field, the center and specialization areas will address the already learned material in greater depth and the focus points of the 3 choice modules will be selected. This expertise is supported by project work and practical application and personal experience. The interdisciplinary implementation of science, networked, solution-oriented and socially competent reasoning and acting was quite emphasized from the outset. The following areas of business are typical of applications for an industrial engineer: sales and marketing, logistics and inventory handling, production, quality management and finance, and accounting.
