Description
By definition, Midwifery is a branch of Medicine that deals with pregnancy, childbirth and infant care. Apart from concentrating on pregnancy, Midwifery also deals with women’s reproductive health. The purpose of a degree course in Midwifery is to effectively educate students, give them insight into the professional world of healthcare, as well as provide them with the necessary skills and competence to become a professional midwife. Midwifery degree programs’ study content typically includes subjects like Human Anatomy and Physiology, Healthcare Systems, Health Policy, Women’s and Family Health, Health Management, Health Promotion and Prevention, Principles of Physiology in Midwifery and more. Requirements
For this program, a general higher education entrance or entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences is needed. Knowledge of German Language is also provided. Working Contract with dual Cooperation Partner. At least 4 Weeks of Internship.
