The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Religious Education” offered by University of Erfurt teaches students all about the links between religion and society. Throughout the program participants gain comprehensive understanding about biblical resource, protestant teaching and ecclesiastical traditions. Incorporated to the curriculum, topics such as Old and New Testament, epoch of church history and others are addressed. The program`s goal is to make students ready to become teachers of religion at primary, regular and vocational schools. Most graduates take this way and with a relevant Master degree, become Protestant religion teachers. Another option for graduates is to work in the fields of journalism, media, human resources, and etc.
