The part-time study course “Master of Science in Nursing – Community Health Nursing/Advanced Nursing Practice” is provided by Protestant University of Applied Sciences Dresden with a total duration of five semesters. Throughout the program, students obtain skills in the field of nursing while deepening their professional skills in both nursing and health science. The course explores important findings from the health and social sciences as well as subjects of medicine, psychology, sociology and ethics. The course integrates relevant international perspectives and provides a strong understanding of health and illness along with nursing scientific understanding of the institutional contexts of management and administration in complex fields of action, disease theory, diagnostics and therapy for frequent health restrictions.
