The eight-semester program “Bachelor of Music in Church Music” is offered by the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. Practical choral work as well as instruction in orchestral conducting is included. The program also imparts some practical subjects. For instance, some of them include Gregorian chant, liturgy, directing chant singing as well as hymnology. The course places a focus upon performance majors of organ literature performance, liturgical organ playing, piano and more. Students also have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge through wide range of electives.
