Description
The “Master of Music in Music Theory” program at Rostock University of Music and Theatre is taught entirely in German. With a duration of 4 semesters, the program teaches students in-depth knowledge on composition, ear training and musicology. New music analysis, History of music theory, Work analysis and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. The admission requirements include a completed Bachelor’s degree, an Aptitude test and a German-language certificate. After completing the course, graduates are able to work as music theorists at colleges.
