The “Master of Music in Orchestral Instruments, Major Winds” program at Rostock University of Music and Theatre has a length of 4 semesters. The program focuses on the mastery of wind instrument playing techniques. The course curriculum includes Applied music theory, Musicology, Ensemble playing and other subjects. In order to apply, candidates must present a completed Bachelor’s degree, an Aptitude test and a German-language certificate. Graduates are able to work as orchestral musicians.
