The “Bachelor of Science in Architecture’’ study program at RWTH Aachen University is a full-time course that lasts six semesters. The program is designed to encourage students’ creative thinking along with the acquisition of professional implementation techniques. Participants will obtain fundamental knowledge in building new spaces in a functional and sustainable ways while also preserving and integrating old structures. Created with a strong focus on drawing and design, this study program will endow students with construction skills which they acquire through the completion of different tasks and design projects that require students to reflect on various concepts of architectural and urban planning nature. Some of the subjects included in the curriculum are History of Architecture, Theory of Architecture, Art History, Drawing, Sculpture, and more. With a Bachelor degree in Architecture, graduates will receive an initial career- qualification that will allow them to assist with design and planning tasks and projects within the field of architecture.
