Description
The “Master of Science in Architecture’’ is a consecutive study program offered by RWTH Aachen University. This is a full-time course with a duration of four semesters designed to provide a basic qualification for a further professional development within the classical and new fields of architecture. As a project-oriented course, this program has a strong focus on professional practice and research that involve working on complex architectural tasks and projects often taking up half of student’s working time. This way students are encouraged to use their creative and integrative thinking while exploring the fundamentals of architectural and conceptual design and construction. Graduates with a Master’s degree can seek job opportunities in high positions in public and private administrations and architectural and planning firms, real estate companies, construction and research institutions, and more. In addition, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture, along with a two-year professional experience, RWTH graduates will be able to get accepted into the Architect’s Guild and thus acquire the title “architect’’ or “urban planner’’.
