The six-semester, full-time course of studies ‘‘Bachelor of Science in Biology‘‘ offered by the RWTH Aachen University offers intensive training in the basic aspects of the discipline. Some of the subjects that form part of the degree content are Microbiology, Zoology, Ecology, Genetics, and more. Throughout their studies, participants can choose between five specialization that will shape their stuy profile based on their individual preferences. By enrolling in this course, students should expect to gain in-depth knowledge of biomedicine, bioinformation systems, biotechnology, and bioresources. This approach taken by RWTH Aachen aims at exploring the discipline from a rather modern perspecitve and go beyond the classical training methods. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, students will have the opportunity to purse a caree in different fields within the pharmaceutical, agricultural, medicine, or scientific research industries.
