The degree program ‘‘Master of Education in Biology, Gymnasium and Gesamtschule Teacher‘‘ at RWTH Aachen University is a full-time course of studies with a duration of four semesters. This program is aimed at participants who want to become gymnasium and gesamtschule teachers. The degree content as well is identical to the one of the Bachelor’s teaching course of the same discipline. Throughout the first two semesters students will focus on lesson and school practice that will strenghent student’s knowledge and pacrtical skills in biology pedagogy.In the third and fourth semesters participants will be presented with a technical component that will further expand their theoretical and practicall skills in the fields of General Biology, Zoology, and Botany.
