The interdisciplinary four-semester, full-time degree program ‘‘Master of Science in Biology‘‘ offered by RWTH Aachen University offers students five specialization along with research focused on two main areas, namely the Protection and Transformation of Biomass and Neurobiology and Bionics. The main goal of this course of studies is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of participants within the scientific domain through study, research, and profiling opportunities. Throughout their studies, participants will have be presented with numerous opportunities as the university relies on the collaboration of different institutes and departments that cover a broader range of disciplines such as chemistry, medicine, physics, and the engineering sciences. The Master’s course offers specializations in Microbiology and Genetics, Biological Information Processing, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Molecular Cell Biology, and Medical Life Sciences. Graduates with a Master’s degree in Biology will have the opportunity to find employment in many areas such as hospitals, external research institutions, research companies, and more.
