The ‘‘Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering‘‘ study program offered by RWTH Aachen University offers a four semester, full-time course of studies. The latter are taught entirely in English, however students who do not have any knowledge in German will be required to participate in a German course. The program is designed to prepare participants for further professional careers within the field of Biomedical Engineering by providing them advanced information and practical skills. The degree content in this field includes interdisciplinary courses specifically designed for this discipline and offered by three of RWTH Aachen’s faculties. In the first semester of their studies, participants will take modules in Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Engineering. In the second and third semesters are focused on modules such as Tissue Engineering, Medical/Imaging/Guided Therapy, Artificial Organs/Devices, and other mandatory ones.
