RWTH Aachen University offers the full-time study program “Master of Education in Catholic Religious Education, Vocational School Teacher’’. With a duration of four semesters this course of studies is geared towards students who want to become vocational school teachers. The curriculum requires students to study two teacher training subjects that can be combined with other subjects. The combination possibilities are the same as those in the Bachelor program of the same name. In the first year of their studies, participants will take only one module that focuses on subject-didactic studies. In the following two years students will take two additional modules that have a rather technical orientation in biblical and systematic theology. Participants will have the opportunity to choose two subjects in these modules. In the last year of their studies, participants will explore and analyze other religions.
