The eight-semester degree program “Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering’’ offered by RWTH Aachen University is a cooperative course of study geared towards prospective students who want to gain in-depth knowledge about the civil engineering discipline in both RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences. With this study program student will be able to make just the right choice for their further studies thanks to the opportunity given by the two participating universities for participants to get to know both educational institutions before they make a final choice. The degree content features the following modules taught during the first semester: Mathematics, Learning to Study, Student Mentoring, Data Processing in Civil Engineering, and more. The content for the following semesters will be based on the students’ choice of university after the orientation semester. Graduates with a degree in Civil Engineering will be able to find well-paid employment opportunities in various fields of application like structural engineering, industrial construction, bridge construction, state, regional and urban planning, building construction and others.
