The four-semester “Master of Education in Communications Engineering, Vocational School Teacher’’ degree program is offered at RWTH Aachen University. This course of study is specifically designed to train students who want to become qualified professional teachers at vocational schools. As in the Bachelor course of study, here participants will also take two teacher training subjects. Yet the program includes other elements as well, such as educational studies and a practical semester. The practical component of the studies will be experienced in the first two semesters when students will become familiar with planning, shaping, and analyzing lessons. By taking this course students will not only explore subject-didactics and education studies but they will also acquire technical knowledge in communication engineering. What is more, participants will be able to choose the focus of their studies themselves by choosing the classes that they want to take.
