“Master of Science in Economic Geography’’ is a four-semester degree program offered at RWTH Aachen University. This is a full-time course of study geared towards undergraduates who wish to advance the knowledge they have acquired during the corresponding Bachelor course. During their studies, participants can create an individual academic profile based on their own interests. This is achieved through elective modules and specializations. Some of the examples for elective modules include Industry and Innovation, Tourism, Urban and Regional Marketing, Logistics, Traffic, Trade, and more. In terms of specializations, participants can choose two out of nine concentrations in Law, Economics, Environmental Management, Airport Management, and others. Graduates with a degree in Economic Geography will be able to search for professional development in the private and public sectors, as well as self-employment. Marketing, location management, urban planning, nature conservation planning, financial services are only few of the careers that graduates can pursue.
