The English-taught degree program “Master of Science in Engineering Geohazards’’ is a full-time course offered by RWTH Aachen University. With a duration of only four semesters, this course of studies is planned to be offered only in the winter semester from 2021. This is an interdisciplinary course of studies that connects engineering with natural sciences and economics. Throughout their studies, participants will learn about the comprehensive geoscientific basis of natural disasters along with the development and design of engineering protection measures. Graduates with a degree in Engineering Geohazards will have a wide range of employment opportunities ahead of them due to the interdisciplinary and international skills that they will acquire during their studies.
