RWTH Aachen University offers the “Master of Education in German, Gymnasium and Gesamtschule Teacher’’ study program that is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career as teachers in secondary and comprehensive schools at a later stage. This course of studies is with a full-time duration and lasts only four semesters. Similar to the Bachelor degree program of the same name, here students will have the chance to choose from the same combination possibilities in terms of teacher training subjects. In addition to this, participants will also benefit from other educational studies and a practical semester. The first two semesters of the program are dedicated to teaching practice and application in schools, whereas the third and the fourth semesters allow students the opportunity to choose the advanced modules that best suit their preferences in either German and General Literary Studies (GAL) or Literary and Linguistic Studies (SK).
