Description
The international study program “Master of Arts in Governance of Technology and Innovation’’ is a full-time course of studies offered by RWTH Aachen University. The program is with a duration of four semesters and is taught in both German and English. This degree is ideal for students who wish to acquire special skills and knowledge by linking sociology and philosophy with technological-political perspectives. Through academic research, political advising, intensive seminars and lectures, internships and projects, participants learn how to deal with issues that might occur under complex social-technological conditions. In the first and second semester, students are introduced with three basic and three advanced modules. A practical module is added in the third semester, and a Master’s module in the fourth and final semester of their studies. Students can choose one out of five elective modules in Managing the Innovation Process, Sustainability Strategies in Politics and Companies, Technical Sociology, Technology and Politics, or Decision Theory.
