The four-semester study program “Master of Arts in History – History as Culture of Knowledge’’ is a full-time course of studies offered by RWTH Aachen University. Students who enroll in this course should expect to learn more about different cultures of knowledge while also focusing on its research and reconstruction. Furthermore, this course of studies has a methodological approach that encourages students to engage in discussions on various topics related to culture that span across epochs. The curriculum for this discipline consists of two types of modules: special and general modules. Every semester, students will take one module from each type. Graduates with a Master’s degree in this discipline can either pursue doctoral studies or find career prospects in historical studies in media, cultural and research organizations, as well as work in public relations, museum, adult education, and more.
