RWTH Aachen University offers the degree program “Master of Science in Mathematics”. This is a research-oriented course of studies with a duration of four-semesters that can be studies in both German and English. By taking this course, students will have the chance to deepen their knowledge in mathematics already acquired during their Bachelor studies. The Mathematics studies at RWTH Aachen are characterized by a variety of elective modules that students can choose from. In addition, participants will also explore a large number of application subjects from the humanities, natural sciences, and the engineering sciences. For even more freedom, all mathematics modules are broken down into three groups: applied mathematics, pure mathematics, and concentration. This way students can tailor their studies according to their own preferences. Graduate with a Master’s degree in Mathematics will be qualified for work in various fields such as IT, banks, consulting, medicine, mechanical engineering, and others.
