“Master of Science in Medical Data Science” is a degree program offered at RWTH Aachen University. This course of study is with a duration of four semesters and can be studied in both German and English. Designed to help students better understand diseases and choose the most appropriate therapeutic approaches, this program is ideal for further education students who want to learn more about medical data science. At the beginning of their studies, participants can choose between two tracks: Medical Aspects or Computer Science Aspects. In the second semester, students will complete an internship or project work. During the third semester of their studies, participants can choose to specialize in either Data Integration of Data Analytics. At the end of their studies, participants should expect to have both fundamental medical and technical knowledge and skills that will allow them to gather medical data from a wide range of sources.
