The multiperspective study program “Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences’’ is a full-time course of studies offered by RWTH Aachen University. With a duration of six semester this degree provides prospective students with the unique possibility to study a combination of five social science and humanities disciplines in one. In the third year of their studies participants will be able to choose one of the following subjects as their major: Political Science, Sociology, History, Catholic Theology, and Philosophy. Through this teaching approach, students will be able to acquire various key academic skills, working techniques, and communication strategies. In the first and second semester of their studies, prospective students will be introduced to the five specializations. From the third semester onwards, participants will be able to concentrate in one of the five disciplines. The studies conclude with a Bachelor’s thesis in the sixth semester of their curriculum.
