RWTH Aachen University offers the study program “Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering, Vocational School Teacher”. This full-time course of studies is with a duration of six semesters. The program is oriented towards prospective students who wish to pursue professional careers as vocational school teachers. Students who enroll in this program will have to study two subjects. The degree content is offered under two study models. In Model I, participants will study both subjects equally, whereas in Model II, one of them will be explored in a broader scope. The discipline ‘’Structural Engineering’’ can be studied only under Model II, where a major professional subject and a small professional subject are studied in an unbalanced manner, meaning one is explored in a broader scope than the other. Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in this discipline can continue with the Master of Education program with the same name or pursue other Master’s programs.
