The six-semester, interdisciplinary degree course “Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication’’ is offered by RWTH Aachen University. This program is ideal for prospective students who want to become qualified professionals with technical and communication science know-how. What is interesting about this program is that it combines the humanities with engineering aspects with the subjects Communication Sciences and Technical Science. Furthermore, from the second semester students will be able to specialize in a specific area based on their own interests. Graduates wih a degree in Technical Communication will become qualified experts in communication of technical content and as such can seek career opportunities in areas of conceptual design, editorial practices, and organization.
