“Bachelor of Science in Underground Engineering, Vocational School Teacher’’ is a six-semester degree offered at RWTH Aachen University. This full-time course is specifically designed for prospective students who are interested in becoming teacher as vocational schools. Training for a teacher requires studying two mandatory subjects. They can be of course combined with other instructional and vocational courses. Yet, participants must take into consideration the fact that ‘’Underground Engineering’’ is seen as a “small vocational subject’’, which is why it can be only combines with “Structural Engineering’’. With a Bachelor’s degree, graduates can continue with the corresponding Master of Education course or also pursue other Master’s programs.
