RWTH Aachen University offers a full-time study course in “Master of Education in Wood Technology, Vocational School Teacher”. With a duration of four semesters this program is geared towards students who wish to become vocational school teachers. Similar to the Bachelor degree course of the same name, here participants will also have to study two subjects. In addition to these teacher training subjects, the Master’s program also includes advanced studies in wood technology, educational studies, studies in the pedagogy of wood technology, as well as a practical semester. The latter is completed at a school where students have the opportunity to apply their technical knowledge while strengthening their pedagogical skills.
