Offered by the Saarland University the English-taught study course “Master of Science in Bioinformatics” is with a duration of four semesters. During the course, students explore the topics of genetics, drug research, virology, biotechnology and bioreactor engineering along with the areas of data structures and algorithms, machine learning, computer graphics, database systems, artificial intelligence and software engineering. Moreover, participants are able to acquire knowledge of other fields such as project management and patent law.
