Provided by the Saarland University the program “Biology (Teacher training)” consist of twelve modules with three subject didactic modules, two of which are connected with school internships. In order to obtain strong, structured specialist knowledge of the fundamental and of the school-relevant sub-areas of biology the program provides the participants with experience in the application of knowledge and working methods in biology. They learn to plan, organize, implement and reflect on both teaching and learning processes in the subject of biology while obtaining solid subject didactic competence. The training course includes modules of botany, zoology, Ecosystems, Chemistry, Physiology, human physiology, plant physiology, mathematics for biologists, Biostatistics, cell biology and more.
