The study course “Master of Science in Biophysics” is with a total duration of four semesters provided by the Saarland University. During the course, students learn to apply advanced mathematical, computer-assisted and experimental methods to finding solutions to complex questions in biophysics and solve the technical and scientific problems that arise between physics and biology. Students acquire a broad general understanding of biophysics and related scientific disciplines while also having the opportunity to undertake specialist courses that enable them to develop a specific career profile. The curriculum includes modules in theoretical and experimental biophysics, as well as modules in selected non-biophysical subjects and key world-of-work skills.
