The study course “Master of Science in Biotechnology” is provided by the Saarland University with a duration of four semesters. During the course, the participants learn how to examine and analyze complex systems experimentally and how to describe systems using mathematical and bioinformatics models. The focus of the program primarily falls on systems biotechnology and on the associated fields of bioinformatics, natural products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, molecular biotechnology and bioprocess engineering. “Master of Science in Biotechnology” is both English- and German-taught and provides imparted subjects of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Molecular Biotechnology, Bioreaction Technology and Bioprocess Engineering, Bioanalytics, Bioinformatics and more.
