The full-time degree program “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science”is provided by the Saarland University with six semesters standard period of study. With possible part-time study with length of up to eight semesters, the course explores theoretical computer science, the performance of computer systems using mathematical models while in computer engineering, the focus falls on the systematic construction of computer hardware, design, testing and manufacturing of chips to hardware components for communication networks. During the practical computer science the graduates obtain comprehension in algorithms rules of action that contribute to solving a problem and serve as the basic building blocks of programming.
