Provided by the Saarland University the program “English (Teacher Training)” aims to qualify students to become experts in targeted teaching and learning processes in the subject of English along with subject-methodical knowledge and skills. The teacher training program enables the students to communicate in the foreign language and to impart intercultural competence by including compulsory modules from the fields of linguistics, literary studies, language practice, cultural studies and subject didactics. “Teacher training in English” includes two didactic school internships in English and requires previous advanced knowledge of the English language level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.
