The interdisciplinary degree program “Master of Arts in Evaluation” is offered by the Saarland University with duration of four semesters. The course is primarily practically oriented and imparts key skills relating to quality management and quality development within organizations while teaching the necessary knowledge and skills along with major areas of theory and practice of evaluation, organizational knowledge, data acquisition and data analysis methods, realization of evaluation processes, economic evaluation as well as key skills in communication, moderation, negotiating skills, mediation and reporting. During their study, graduates are able to form deep understanding in the one selected area of international development, social services, education and the health sector. The course also includes a ten-week professional work experience phase.
