The study course “French (Teacher Training)” is offered by the Saarland University. The course includes compulsory modules from the fields of linguistics, literary studies, language practice, cultural studies, regional studies and specialist didactics with two didactic school internships in French. By teaching the students to communicate in the foreign language and to impart intercultural competence in the sense of a didactic of multilingualism, students also stay abroad in a French-speaking country for six months or three months.
