Provided by the Saarland University the program “Bachelor of Arts in History” is divided into the three major epochs of ancient history, history of the Middle Ages and history of the modern age. During their study, the students explore fundamental subject-specific content, methods and work techniques that serve the critical analysis of sources and research texts and acquire didactic, social and communicative skills. The bachelor degree conveys interdisciplinary key qualifications important for professional activity in science, business, administration and society. Graduates of the course will be able to specialize in archives, libraries, publishing, media and documentation as well as in museums, public and cultural work in state and private organizations, tourism and marketing.
