Provided by the Saarland University the study course “History (Teacher Training)” is divided into the three major epochs Old story, History of the Middle Ages and Modern history. During the subject-specific compulsory and compulsory elective modules as well as subject-related didactic modules graduates are able to obtain subject methodological skills and knowledge in order to be able to convey the past to children and young people on the basis of the results of historical studies. The course also integrates two school internships, during the semester and in block form in the didactic modules.
