Offered by the Saarland University the study course “Master of Science in Human and Molecular Biology” is with a duration of four semesters. The program focuses on molecular and path physiological aspects of a wide variety of human diseases while the content covers the natural sciences and biomedical sciences in equal measure, teaches both the theoretical foundations of the subject and the relevant practical laboratory skills. By also including advanced modules in the main fields of biomedicine and molecular biology the students are able to form strong understanding of path physiological aspects of numerous of human diseases and health disorders in modules such as 'Genetic Diseases and Epigenetic', 'Signal Transmission and Transport', 'Hormones, Stress and Memory' and 'Infection Biology'.
