Offered by the Saarland University the study course “Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering” is with duration of four semesters. The "Materials Science" specialization provides an introduction to methodical techniques of material characterization, modeling and simulation, which are supplemented by an expanded consideration of the material-specific properties and processing technologies. The students have the opportunity to select courses and modules that best reflect their personal academic interests in the field and also have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to research projects during their studies. During their study, the participants obtain key competencies, such as voluntary work, committees, mentoring and tutoring.
