Offered by the Saarland University the program “Master of Science in Media Informatics” is with a duration of four semesters. Students acquire the analytical, creative and practical skills necessary to develop the software and systems used in digital media while they also receive training in the necessary design skills. During the program, participants take courses in media informatics and informatics while also experiencing media art and design project and spend a practical work experience phase in a company active in the field. They learn how to develop their communication, presentation and rhetorical skills while consolidating and applying the theoretical knowledge acquired in the taught courses and gain insight into and an understanding of the professional world of digital media and multimedia technologies.
