The study course “Music (Teacher Training)” is provided by the Saarland University in cooperation with the Saar University of Music. The training includes ensemble work and practice, Music theory, Music education, Music didactics, Form theory, ear training, Reflection on the work and Musicology while preparing the students for planned staging of experiential situations and musical skills. The music-educational tasks at school include giving specialist music lessons, interdisciplinary collaboration, supervising musical working groups and cooperating with out-of-school providers of musical education programs.
