The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Physics” is with a duration of six semesters provided by the Saarland University. Students are able to obtain fundamental interactions and learn how to formulate physical phenomena in the mathematical laws. By providing theoretical-physical training, the sub-areas of the course include classical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics and statistical physics supplemented by numerous basic mathematical lectures. During the compulsory area of the course, the participants gain the theoretical and experimental basics of physics as well as basic knowledge of mathematics with the opportunity to attend courses from other areas such as chemistry, computer science or mathematics.
