Provided by the Saarland University the degree program “Bachelor of Science in Psychology” is with a total length six semesters. It deals with methods of how human behavior can be observed and analyzed along with the general principles of human behavior such as in the area of motivation, learning, thinking, differences in the experience and behavior of different people in the same or similar situations as well as the development of human functions, motor skills, language, and intelligence. With an interdisciplinary orientation the program supplements and clarifies psychological questions with findings from the fields of mathematics, biology, clinical medicine, computer science, and cultural and media studies. During the application area the prospective students attend lectures and seminars in the study areas "Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology", "Diagnostics and Counseling" and "Cognition and Learning and Development".
