Provided by the Sankt Georgen Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology, the certificate study program “Philosophicum” provides orientation knowledge and analytical orientation skills and is aimed at graduates of the master’s degree in Catholic theology who are interested in expanding and deepening the philosophical knowledge and skills acquired in the theology degree. The course deals with central areas of philosophy while providing an overview of the central epochs of the history of philosophy as well as a well-founded insight into fundamental areas, topics and positions in philosophy. It also contains human science components and practical exercises that can be acquired parallel to the master’s degree.
